  Honda's awesome Urban EV Concept gets sporty follow-up in Tokyo Or, how Honda got its groove back.At the Tokyo Motor Show in late October, Honda will unveil the Sports EV Concept, for which it's issued a teaser. The teaser only gives off a little bit of the car's shape. The taillights are pretty similar to the Urban EV Concept, but the sides are way curvier, giving this coupe a pretty shapely form.

The black – or 'Total Black' as Honda puts it – concept bike is the work of Honda's research and development department in Rome, and It continues in similar vein as the 'Neo Sports Café' styled CB4 Concept displayed at EICMA 2015, but according to Honda the Interceptor takes a direction towards what it calls Sport Endurance. Under all this buzzword bombardment lies the newly introduced CB1000R; the CB4 Concept two years ago foreshadowed the new CB1000R, but was based on the CB650F instead.

Honda 's CB 4 Interceptor concept catapults the retro cafe racer style into the future(Credit: Honda ). This time last year, we got our first gander at the CB 4 concept , a retro/ futuristic Euro-look styling exercise by Honda 's design team.

In addition to the futuristic appearance, the bike has a neat gadget in the form of the infotainment touchscreen: the screen is powered by a fan in front of the bike, utilizing kinetic energy for all the rider's onboard connectivity needs. The screen delivers navigation apps, the ability to make emergency calls in the case of an accident, or just connects to the rider's mobile device.
