When planning for a wedding or a baby, it's a good idea to expect the unexpected.For Rubia Ferreira and Tyler Campbell, neither their upcoming nuptials or the birth of their daughter, Kaelin, went as planned.The couple met in Okinawa, Japan, where Campbell was stationed with the Marines, and learned Ferreira was pregnant in February 2017. On a visit to Campbell's hometown of Jasper, Alabama in November 2017, Ferreira began experiencing abdominal pain.

Though rain supposedly means good luck on a wedding day, one pair of Mississippi lovebirds were even more fortunate when strangers offered to host their nuptials inside their home after a torrential rainstorm threatened to ruin their beachside vows.

She and her friends went ahead with plans to set up her wedding ceremony on the beach in Pascagoula, Miss. Ariel and Dulce Gonzalez moved their rained - out wedding to the home of Shannon and Cynthia Strunk in Pascagoula, Miss.

The couple, who were set to tie the knot in an outdoor ceremony on the beach in Pascagoula, Mississippi, were hopeful for sun. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.

Just before go-time, torrential rain and lightning forced the entire wedding party and all the guests into their cars, Dulce told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I was in the car with my mom and dad about to have a panic attack and break down crying, thinking, 'Oh, my God. What are we going to do?'” she recalled.

Meanwhile, Shannon and Cynthia Strunk were watching the drama unfold from their home across the street. As the black clouds continued to grow, they knew the wedding was going to be rained out.

Cynthia wasn’t about to let that happen. The strangers needed a plan B, and she had just the place.

“She came up to the car window and said, ‘Y’all are more than welcome to come to our house. I’ll have everything ready in 10 minutes,’” Dulce recalled.

Cynthia prepared her home quickly, setting up 50 chairs in her living room and offering the bride a private room. A neighbor even gathered up all the umbrellas he could find and escorted guests from their cars to the home.

Thanks to the Strunks, the entire affair went off without a hitch.

“It honestly looked like we had planned it there!” Dulce told Yahoo. As everything fell into place, she recalled thinking “God definitely wanted us to get married. Thank you for sending us these two little angels to save our big day and make it even more special.”

The Strunks say the whole thing was simply their “pleasure.”

“We didn’t think we were doing anything grand,” Cynthia told WLOX. “We were just helping some people out on the beach that needed help.”
