This Beach Bar for Dogs Has Chicken Beer and Doggie Paddle Races Monty’s Dog Beach Bar is just one more reason to put Croatia on your travel bucket list.Monty’s opened a year ago in the coastal town of Crikvenica and has been drawing in four-legged patrons and their owners ever since. While lounging on a sun bed with views of the Adriatic Sea, dogs lap up special "beer" brewed from chicken and vegetables. If they’re in need of something more substantial, the menu also includes ice cream made from bananas, peanut butter, yogurt, and soy milk. Senior dogs even have the option to drink medicinal teas that are supposed to boost fur growth.

For many of us, it can be challenging to get the family pup sit still long enough to snap a photo, let alone get them to look at the camera for a selfie. But sheep farmer Lance Partridge from Walcha, Australia seems to have mastered it.

Which is better for sleep — pets or no pets in the bed?

Which is better for sleep — pets or no pets in the bed? A recent study rethinks what sleep experts have been saying for years. Do you ban your dog from the bed in the hopes of getting a better night's sleep? It may be time to beg your pooch's forgiveness and invite him in. But only one — and not ON the bed. According to a new study, people with a single dog in their bedroom slept just fine. But when the dog was actually on the bed, sleep was more likely to be disturbed, according to a new report by Mayo Clinic researchers. In the study, forty adults, mostly women with an average age of 44, and their dogs wore motion sensor devices for seven nights.

The picture quickly went viral, racking up more than 124,000 likes and 5,000 shares. Even though we love the selfie series, Lance isn't too found of being seen across the World Wide Web. "I am a little embarrassed because there are a lot of people talking about it," Lance told The Land. "I was just taking photos of my beard because I had been playing a hillbilly in a musical society production and my wife wouldn't let me keep it."

Hilariously enough, Lance doesn't even know how to use Facebook-he's not even sure how to like a photo. "My daughter uploaded the photo onto Facebook and then it started being shared," he told The Land.

Despite his newfound popularity of both his beard and his pooches, Lance reluctantly won't be giving his daughter his phone anytime soon. But we think he should keep the adorable selfies coming-or at least let us come to his farm join in on the fun!

Puppy eyes: The tail wagging the dog? .
Your dog may be a master manipulator, deliberately making puppy eyes to pull at your heart strings, according to a study Thursday into a ploy many mutt owners have long suspected. The research suggests that dogs may be in control of their facial expressions, using them to communicate, researchers reported in the journal Scientific Reports.Until now, it was assumed that dog expressions were involuntary. The new study suggests, however, that man's best friend may be very well aware of the reaction a scowl or grin will elicit from its master."The findings appear to support evidence...
