  Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress Could Be Designed by British-Based, Kate Middleton–Approved Brand Erdem They appear to be beefing up their PR staff.According to a report from Diary Directory, Erdem, the British fashion brand headed by Canada-born Erdem Moralıoğlu, recently stopped outsourcing its public relations team, hiring a new in-house PR manager instead. As People notes, this "staffing up" could be Erdem's way of preparing for the onslaught of attention they would undoubtedly receive if they were responsible for designing Meghan Markle's wedding gown.

Legal fight dates back to 2012 when Van Haren tried to sell a red - soled high - heel shoe. Shoe designer Christian Louboutin may be forced to step back from its attempt to stop other companies from selling shoes with red soles — a design feature that the company claims it has exclusive rights to.

LUXEMBOURG — The European Union's top court has defended French fashion designer Christian Louboutin's claim to trademark red soled high-heel shoes.

The European Court of Justice ruled Tuesday that Van Haren, a Dutch company that sold similar shoes, had infringed the trade mark.

The court said that it did not matter that its shoes were different in shape. It said the registration of the trademark "sought solely to protect that application of a colour to a specific part of that product."

Louboutin said in a statement that it "warmly welcomes this judgment."
