A year after picking Faith Ekakitie first overall in the CFL Draft, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers cut him It’s pretty remarkable to see someone go from the first-overall pick in a league’s draft to a training camp cut a year later, but that’s what happened with former Iowa Hawkeyes’ defensive tackle Faith Ekakitie. It’s positive that the team’s already acquired backup uniforms, but that’s still highly unfortunate. And hopefully the van and the uniforms will be located ahead of Sunday’s game. There’s enough to worry about ahead of the playoffs without your uniforms going missing.
