John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) sexually harassed her, BuzzFeed News reported Tuesday.A former scheduler for the congressman alleged that in 2016 he rubbed her shoulders, kissed her forehead and attempted to hold her hand. The woman at tempted to file a sealed lawsuit against Conyers in February, but abandoned it the next month, according to BuzzFeed.The news outlet reported Monday that several others accused Conyers of sexual harassment, and that Conyers settled a wrongful dismissal complaint in 2015 with a former employee who alleged he fired her because she would not "succumb to [his] sexual advances.

John Conyers (D-Mich.) said Friday that the embattled congressman would make a decision in the coming days about whether to resign amid allegations of sexual harassment.

"We will discuss in the next day or so what Mr. Conyers plans to do," Arnold Reed, a lawyer for Conyers, said at a news conference.

"As you know his health is not the best, is not what it should be, he has undergone a second round of examinations. I will meet and confer with doctors and it will be Congressman John Conyers who will be the one to decide what it is he's going to do."

In recent days, Conyers has faced mounting calls from his fellow lawyers to resign. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that the long-serving congressman should step down in the face of allegations that he sexually harassed three former employees.
