Brees rips Thursday Night Football after injury-riddled loss

Brees rips Thursday Night Football after injury-riddled loss Count Drew Brees on the ever-growing list of NFL players against Thursday Night Football. After losing several teammates and seeing others hobbled by ongoing injuries throughout Thursday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the New Orleans Saints quarterback knew exactly what was at fault for the increased ailments that helped determine the outcome."It's one hundred percent a product of playing on Thursday night," said Brees, according to Josh Katzenstein of the Times-Picayune after the loss.

Or, maybe the two sides agree to a buyout. Sources say Okafor may opt to push for a buyout agreement now that the former No . 3 overall pick will be an unrestricted free agent in July.

Jahlil Okafor , the former third overall pick in the 2015 draft, is still stuck in basketball purgatory. He’s appeared in just two games and played 25 total minutes, and the Sixers seem to be insistent on keeping him in storage until a suitable trade partner can be found.

Okafor, 21, was drafted by Philadelphia with the No. 3 overall pick in 2015 after one season at Duke. He averaged 17.5 points and seven rebounds during his rookie season, but had since struggled to find a consistent spot in the rotation and had grown frustrated with his role. He has played in just two games this season for the Sixers, who are focused on building around former top-three picks Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz.

ESPN and The Vertical first reported the trade agreement.

Booker, who was in his second season with the Nets, is averaging 10.1 points and 6.6 rebounds. He took to Twitter shortly after news broke.
