But that's going to come with a lot of (practice) reps and game repetitions. So, I'm getting close, but it will probably take a while until I feel like I did last season."

The team hasn't set a timeline on when the restrictions will be lifted, as it'll be determined by the training staff and how Thomas feels. For his part, the explosive scorer said he will continue to stay on top of his rehab in order to get back to the MVP level he played at last season.

Thomas joined the Cavaliers via trade from the Boston Celtics in the Kyrie Irving megadeal this past summer.

The two-time All-Star put up 28.9 points, 5.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game last season. He notched 17 points and three assists in 19 minutes Tuesday in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
