Cam Newton has apparently scrubbed his wildly popular personal Instagram account (he has over four million followers) of all of its posts and unfollowed any Panthers-related accounts.Here's a look at what Newton's page looks like right now.© File Photo File Photo So, what does it all mean?We can obviously assume that Newton is frustrated over his team's recent playoff loss to the division rival Saints, which was their third defeat at New Orleans' hands this year.

In addition to getting poked in the eye as the team said he was, Newton also injured his knee during the Panthers' 31-26 wild-card loss to the Saints . The NFL learned about the injury while interviewing Panthers officials over the phone this week.

Losing to the Saints was a rough way to end the season for the Panthers and their franchise quarterback, Cam Newton.

In addition to getting no help from his wide receivers, Newton got pummeled in the backfield repeatedly, sacked four times, poked in the eye and kicked in the head. Apparently, he also suffered a knee injury which is only now coming to light.

According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, the NFL's investigation into whether or not Carolina followed the concussion protocol when Newton was staggered by a hit late in the game will consider a knee injury as a factor, as well.

While it's good that the knee issue sounds minor, it's just one more item to add to the long list of injuries Newton has suffered as the Panthers quarterback.

Funeral set for Philadelphia firefighter killed in collapse .
PHILADELPHIA — A funeral is scheduled for a veteran Philadelphia firefighter who was fatally injured when a burning row home collapsed last weekend. Officials say the funeral mass for Lt. Matthew LeTourneau will be held Friday at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.The 11-year veteran was pulled from the home on Saturday by fellow firefighters and taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.A person who lived in the home also was killed in the blaze. Two other firefighters were treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
