Report: Broncos, Cardinals, Jets, Vikings expected to be final 4 for Cousins The Kirk Cousins sweepstakes are apparently already down to four teams even before free agency begins. The Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings are expected to be the final four teams vying to secure the Pro Bowl quarterback's services, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Reports about the Broncos' and Jets' strong interest in Cousins have already leaked. Denver is believed to be "all-in" on pursuing the longtime Washington Redskins starter, while New York is apparently willing to pay "whatever it takes" to sign him.

RUMORS TRACKER: Keep up with the biggest signings, trades

Denver is squarely in the market for a quarterback after going through last season with Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch. It appears ready to reward Keenum, a journeyman who led the Vikings to the NFC championship game after permanently replacing an inured Sam Bradford in Week 5.

Keenum's reported move out of Minnesota helps clear the way for the Vikings to sign free agent Kirk Cousins to a huge contract this week. The Vikings reportedly are competing with the Jets, and although the Jets have the most salary-cap room in the league and can therefore pay Cousins whatever he wants, the Vikings present Cousins an opportunity to win immediately.
