You just cannot do stuff like this.

The Boston Marathon occurred this past Monday, as the city came out to support the runners and celebrate the community holiday as they always do. Of course, it was also the fourth year after the tragedy of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings.

As the community continues healing from the horrific events of that fateful day, the Marathon and its tradition persevere. With the 2017 events now in the books, Adidas sent out the following congratulatory email to participants.

The subject was absolutely terribly worded.

Who was the genius that signed off on this email?! How could you possibly not realize what you were sending out to community that is still dealing with such a tragedy?!

I think I'm making a safe assumption when I say that most runners won't be shopping for any official gear from your site after this one Adidas. Good luck covering for that massive mistake.
