Patriots receive Super Bowl LI rings

Patriots receive Super Bowl LI rings While the rest of the sports world have their eyes glued on the NBA Finals, the New England Patriots had their own celebration on Friday, as the team received their Super Bowl rings. In case you weren't one of the 115 million people that watched the Super Bowl, the Patriots came back from a 25-point deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime in Super Bowl LI.The ring has 280 diamonds and features the Patriots logo, made from a custom-cut created corundum sapphire and ruby.

New WR Brandin Cooks adds a dimension this offense has lacked since the days of Randy Moss: A bona fide downfield threat. The team will also get Rob Gronkowski after winning the Super Bowl without him in 2016.

They have a great chance of winning and being in the Super bowl this year." The Steelers are an amazing football team and with an unstoppable offense and an good defense the Steelers are great the Steelers will always be a super bowl contender.

We've cut down the entire league into a group of five teams that have a a chance of lifting the Lombardi Trophy next February in Minnesota. Here they are, ranked in order…

Brandon Marshall on Jets’ roster: ‘Will they have enough people to line up?’ Former Jets receiver Brandon Marshall now has a simple question for his fellow team, "Will they have enough people to line up?"One skeptic is former Jets receiver Brandon Marshall. Now a member of the Giants, Marshall was asked about the state of Gang Green's roster by TMZ.

I can’t see anyone outside of these 8 teams winning the championship. Teams like Detroit or Tampa Bay have solid, but unspectacular squads who would need an I don’t think there’s a team around that they can’t beat. For both sides of the argument, take a look at: Who Will Win Super Bowl LII ?

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – New England might blow out Philadelphia in Super Bowl LII . Or vice versa. Crazy stuff happens, especially in over-hype’s annual No. 1 showcase. As much as any Super Bowl in recent memory, however, this game’s a coin toss. Both went 13-3 in the regular season.

The Patriots' inclusion on this list does not require much explanation. The defending champs have only gotten better since we last saw them celebrating in Houston. New WR Brandin Cooks adds a dimension this offense has lacked since the days of Randy Moss: A bona fide downfield threat. The team will also get Rob Gronkowski after winning the Super Bowl without him in 2016. This offense is going to be unstoppable as long as Tom Brady and Gronk stay healthy.

The defense should be better, too. The Pats let No. 2 corner Logan Ryan walk in free agency then went ahead and upgraded the position by signing Stephon Gilmore away from Buffalo. He'll join Malcolm Butler to form one of the best cornerback duos in the league. The team's most important move may have been retaining defensive leader Dont'a Hightower, who was an unrestricted free agent. He makes the entire front seven better.

Super Bowl LII was an American football game played to determine the champion of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2017 season. The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Philadelphia Eagles defeated the American Football Conference (AFC)

This team is loaded on both sides of the ball and the overwhelming favorite to lift the Lombardi Trophy once again.

Seattle Seahawks

I'm not ready to close the window on this Seahawks team just yet. Not with Russell Wilson improving as a pocket passer every season and the team managing to keep together its defensive core.

Sure, Seattle underachieved last season. A team this talented should be better than 10-5-1. But injuries derailed the Seahawks season. Wilson has hobbled all year with various injuries, and the defense lost its most important player, Earl Thomas, to a broken leg in December.

If the Seahawks injury luck turns around in 2017, they'll be the favorites to win the NFC and one of the few legit threats to the Patriots.

Green Bay Packers

As long as Aaron Rodgers is on this team, it will have a shot at winning it all. He's that transcendent of a quarterback. And he got some more help in the form of Martellus Bennett. The Packers lost some key peices on the offensive line, but there's still enough talent here to provide Rodgers with enough time to pick defenses apart with the loaded group of skill players he now has at his disposal.

Tom Brady discusses what his Super Bowl ring symbolizes

Tom Brady discusses what his Super Bowl ring symbolizes Tom Brady has his fifth Super Bowl ring, more than any player in NFL history. And yet, the latest ring seems to mean no less to him than the first. "The ring symbolizes so many things, and more than just something you wear on your hand - the memories you have in your mind and your heart is what you'll remember for the rest of your life," Brady said in a video on Patriots.com while attending the Patriots' Super Bowl ring ceremony.

I’m not. Maybe none of these things happen and the team still makes the playoffs or even wins it all. Bolt Beat 1 yearHow the L.A. Chargers will win Super Bowl LII .

You could make an argument for half a dozen teams as the best bet to win the Super Bowl . But here's the smartest thing: bet on the Patriots. But Brady's magic continues in Super Bowl LII , and he wins his sixth Lombardi in this championship rematch. Tim Rohan.

The concern, as always, is the defense. The Falcons had their way with a slow and aging Green Bay defense in the NFC title game, so the front office attempted to add some youth and speed to the roster this offseason. The Packers used their first four draft picks on defensive players. Now, those guys will probably need some time to adjust to the NFL game, but having some more athleticism on the field should help a pass defense that finished 31st in the league in 2016.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers think they have a plan to finally slow down Brady and the Patriots offense. "Slow down" is the key phrase there. With as much firepower as the Steelers offense possesses, the defense won't be required to shut down New England in order for Pittsburgh to pull out a victory over the defending Super Bowl champs.

The Steelers drafted T.J. Watt, who should help the pass rush from Day 1. He'll join Bud Dupree and James Harrison to form a rush that should be able to get to the quarterback without the help of a blitz. That's the key to slowing down an elite quarterback like Brady, who can diagnose blitzes as if the he's in the defensive huddle.

The winner of this matchup is going to the Super Bowl . At home, the Vikings are seemingly invincible. Minnesota will do what no team has ever done before, which is to win a Super Bowl in their own stadium.

On the other side of the ball, only injuries will slow down the Steelers offense. We still haven't seen a healthy trio of Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell compete in the postseason. If that finally happens this year, look out.

Dallas Cowboys

OK, so the Cowboys defense looks terrible on paper. The secondary lacks experience. The pass rush doesn't figure to be very effective. But never sleep on the wizardry of defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli. Or the boon a ball control offense can be for a defensive unit. Dallas defense may lack talent, but don't be surprised when it finishes as a league-average unit (statistically speaking) by year's end.

There's no reason to expect the Cowboys offense to take a step back. If anything, this unit should be better than it was a season ago. Dak Prescott should only get better. There was nothing fluky about his fantastic debut season; the guy is legit. As is Ezekiel Elliott, who led the league in rushing but copped to leaving far too many yards on the field last season. That's a scary thought.

Honorable mention: Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons
