According to Golf.com's Dylan Dethier, Fowler has been practicing with Woods. And when asked to discuss rumors about Woods' driving distance, Fowler confirmed that Woods' long game has reemerged and exceeded his own.

Sure, Fowler ranked just 41st in PGA driving distance last year, but assuming Rickie wasn't joking, this development was enough to get golf fans very excited.

Woods is set to make his return at the Hero World Challenge on Nov. 30.
